They really took out the sandbox feel that most of the series has. Sure, you can choose if you want to kill your target in the left hall or the right one, but in blood money, you could choose the left, the right, the roof, the kitchen, in public, with a gun, a knife, in the bathroom, with a plunger, etc. They really took a linear approach this time. THE BAD~ In my opinion, Blood-Money was better. (Not really, but who listens to the story anyway?) Throughout the game, they really emphasize that the bad guys ARE the bad guys, and i liked that. There is a vast majority of melee weapons and guns, and the story is somewhat fascinating. The graphics are amazing, and when you finish the game, you can play other user-made "Contracts" that make you kill certain people with certain weapons, and costumes, etc. Thats like all the other games though, so ill skip that. THE GOOD~ What i really liked about this game was the fact that you could go sneaking about and strangle people. The game itself was fun, but had very low replayability due to the fact that they redid everything. Hitman absulution is the newest game in the series, albeit not the best. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Bottom line if you are or were a fan of any of these Hitman games I strongly recommend getting this one. Overall Hitman has been dormant for a loong time now and the release of this is a COMPLETE breath of fresh air among the endless tide of FPS titles and FPS franchise sequels that are almost always too afraid to be bold and mix things up. You will find yourself playing these multiple times just to figure out each kill then trying to string them together in the fastest time possible. You can have up to three targets and each target can have their own specific way to eliminate, such as method of kill and the disguise you wear to kill them. Contracts is very addictive and fresh in its own right, just the vast amount of options that can be created is astonishing. Heck I believe it took me around 7 hours to get every challenge on the Chinatown level.
To complete the challenges on any said one level of single player your looking at INSANE re-playability. Personally I love a game that challenges me and this is one of those games. Now I won't go into it too much because by now everyone knows how it works now, but to defend the change just a little bit it makes the game even MORE challenging especially on the harder difficulty settings. Out of all they have changed the only thing that is really a stickler is way disguises work.
Yes they have taken some things out, adjusted some things and changed the way disguises work. Anyways I honestly say this game is amazing in almost every aspect. I played the Sniper Challenge to DEATH got all the challenges. I've played every one and had tons of fun with every title. I've played every one and had tons of fun with every I know it is probably getting to sound redundant by now but I am a series Hitman fan. So lets get started with the trailer for Hitman Absolution so you can really see just what this game is all about.I know it is probably getting to sound redundant by now but I am a series Hitman fan.
#Absolution hitman pc Pc
Now of course I am playing the PC edition of this game, which was in fact developed for consoles as the primary format, but Nixxes have done some stunning conversion work in the past and I have high hopes for this port. Hitman comes from IO Interactive, who have been behind the whole Hitman series and most worryingly (for me at least) the god awful Kane & Lynch franchise. You play the role of Agent 47, a contract Hitman and naturally this being a game, you’re supposed to be the best, most bad ass and apparently baldest Hitman there is. I last played Hitman Codename 47 (yes the very first in the series) and even then it was only the demo! so that’s 12 years between a demo and Absolution, I’m going into this one blind.įor those of you that don’t know, the premise of the game is right in the title. Now I know many fans of the series will have been waiting eagerly for this title to be released, but not me. This week I’ve been spending time with Agent 47 in his latest outing Hitman Absolution.
